1. First Puzzle

The are two ladders leaning against opposite facing walls.  Each ladder reaches from up against the wall down to the corner of the other wall. The first ladder rests at 60 feet vertically up the wall.  The second ladder is 40 feet up the opposite wall.  The question is how high is the intersection at which the ladders meet vertically?

You need to figure the height of the dotted line.  Answers on a postcard!
